Local Woman Thrilled to Take on New Title as Boyfriend’s Personal Shopper

A local woman is thrilled to be adding title of “personal shopper” to her growing list of responsibilities in her relationship. ”I think this is going to be a really great way to use my creative side.” said Jenna Albertson, 26. “One day I noticed that Ryan had worn the same shirt for a week straight and when I asked why, he said that it’s the only shirt he liked, so I set off to finding him a whole new wardrobe!”
We asked Ryan Smith, 29, what he thought of his updated wardrobe, and looking down at his new shirt, he said “Nah, I think I got this in college.”
Albertson adds “Personal Shopper” to a long list of other titles that she holds in her relationship, including Personal Chef, Maid, and Therapist. Said Albertson “Being in a relationship is all about give and take. Sure, a lot of my time goes into making sure Ryan has the basic necessities for survival, but that’s just what it means to be a good girlfriend.”
The PhD candidate, who works as a software developer full time, says that she tries to volunteer on the weekends. “I used to organize a weekly soup kitchen, but it’s been tough finding the time since Ryan and I started dating. There are only so many hours in a day!”
Ryan lists his titles on LinkedIn as DJ and Influencer. “Ryan’s Twitch channel is really taking off,” said Albertson, “last month he went from 23 to 26 followers. Plus he’s recording a new EP right now.”
When we asked Ryan to comment on his relationship, he said “Yeah it’s dope” but we are not sure whether he knew what we were talking about as he was fully fixated on playing Fortnite.
“Honestly, I’m the lucky one here,” said Albertson, “I know I can be a lot to handle, but Ryan is my rock. He keeps me balanced, keeps my feet on the ground, and is mostly loyal. Seriously, sometimes it feels like I’m in a fairytale.”
